Key details
Destination: Netherlands · Level: Master’s
Funding: Full tuition + living-expense contribution
Scholarship deadline: 1 December 2026, 23:59 CET

What the scholarship covers
TU Delft lists 16 awards, two per faculty. Tuition support and a living-expense contribution are provided; the current overview does not state a universal stipend amount. Second-year continuation requires at least 48 of 60 ECTS in year one. Funding beyond two years and combining another scholarship are not supported.
Do not interpret a living contribution as a promise to reimburse every expense. Flights and initial settlement funds require planning; check the individual award letter for the final financial package.
Eligibility and exclusions
Applicants need excellent, relevant prior study and eligibility for a regular two-year MSc. Top-10% performance is an indication of competitiveness, without required ranking proof. International joint programmes are excluded. The FAQ excludes existing TU Delft students and applicants whose bachelor’s was earned at a Dutch university, and sets a maximum age of 35 at the academic year’s start.
Required documents and application route
- Check the exact MSc requirements and whether its deadline precedes 1 December.
- Register through Studielink, activate the supplied NetID and complete the application in Osiaan.
- Upload diploma/transcript evidence, CV, motivation, identity and any required English/GRE results following the course instructions.
- Add the scholarship application form and at least one reference letter. Two letters, if used, go in one PDF.
- Pay the non-refundable €100 admission fee and submit the complete file in time.
English evidence must meet the scholarship deadline unless an official exemption applies. A prior admission decision is not required before submission; the scholarship assessment follows a positive admission assessment.
Deadline and results
The stated scholarship cutoff is 1 December 2026, 23:59 CET. Successful applicants are informed by the end of March 2027. Late or incomplete files are not a viable application strategy.
How to build a focused application
Choose the programme on the strength of its curriculum and your preparation. A useful motivation letter connects one or two technical experiences with a specific learning objective. Describe your contribution to a project, including constraints and results; broad enthusiasm alone gives a selection committee little evidence.
Give your referee a brief project summary, your CV and the deadline well in advance. Keep a final checklist for the scholarship form, reference and language evidence in addition to the general admission checklist. Prepare a funding alternative before accepting an offer, and avoid treating conditional admission as confirmation of an award.
Frequently asked questions
Must I already have an admission decision?
No. Submit the complete file on time; assessment can follow.
Is a fixed monthly stipend published?
The cited overview states a living contribution without a universal amount. Consult the award terms.
Can I submit a joint MSc?
The scheme is for eligible regular TU Delft MSc programmes, not international joint degrees.
