Programme Overview
MARIHE stands for Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education. It is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and coordinated by the University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria. Consortium partners include universities in Austria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, China and India.
The programme runs for four semesters and combines study in Europe and Asia with a mandatory internship. Students begin in Austria, continue in Finland, then move into specialised study paths in Europe or Asia before completing the master's thesis.
Funding and Scholarship Benefits

Selection Notes
MARIHE uses a two-round review. In Round 1, academic quality accounts for 40%, motivation and programme fit for 40%, and personal skills for 20%. The second-round video contributes 10% of the final overall result, while the first-round score contributes 90%.
After review, applicants may be placed on the Erasmus Mundus scholarship main list, Erasmus Mundus reserve list, tuition-fee scholarship main list, tuition-fee scholarship reserve list, or may be rejected.
